Waste Water Treatment

Many agricultural processes generate waste water that then needs to be treated for re-insertion into a healthy cycle. Wine production is no stranger to this fact.

Waste water is usually disinfected via sodium hypochlorite.

Ozone is a better option. As ozone is injected into liquids, it penetrates the cells of micro-organisms by penetrating their walls. The oxidization strength of ozone will then stunt growth, inhibit energy transfer or create respiratory disturbances leading to the death of micro-organisms.

In addition to killing bacteria and viruses, the taste and smell of water is vastly improved. Ozone will also break down small pollutants.
